Forest Tree King Scarlet

As you step out the woodland procession approaches, and lifted highly upon firm branches, all knotted in a crazy splendid mess, sits the Forest Tree King, and all about is perfect. The sunshine of the day perches upon his shoulder and he looks lovingly down into the gathered crowd.

Ribbons and bunting are everywhere, gold, green, blue, white, yellow, fluttering like butterflies in the light summer breeze.

'Welcome my friends' he says to the gathering, his deep voice, warm and welcoming. 'Now who shall sit on my throne for the day? Who shall bring me the most perfect leaf, for that is what you must do for me and then I will grant the winner a seat upon my throne for the day.'

He then pauses for effect though the words are the same every year.
'But there is one simple rule, do you know it?' and all about the crowd chant 'Yes, yes we do.'
'Well then that is good, but lets help our new friends freshly joined' and he turns to you and says.

'The leaves must fall naturally to the ground, none must be picked from the trees themselves, and be careful where you collect them from, it must be clean and free from litter of any kind. Now are you ready?'

Are you? Then nod to the Forest Tree King.

All about the courtyard the frenzy is about to begin, there is a magic hush as the King lifts his arm in readiness. Everyone holds their breath waiting for the signal, then he opens his palm and out spill hundreds of rose petals, and off like a gun the crowd goes, to the left and right, people scurrying and snatching at the leaves on the ground, along the side and all about. When they have what they believe to be the best, then they head off across the grass at a mad pace.

Then the King of the Forest turns gently to you again and asks kindly. 'What are you waiting for, find one superb leaf each, make it different from each others, so no two should be alike if you can help it, then take them to the five judges in the field.'

'The winner will have the chance to sit upon my throne, it is always the prize going far back into history, further than books, and long beards, and perhaps even before shoes were invented, and that is a very long way back indeed!'

So your task is set, each take a moment to find a leaf, as perfect as can be and then when you are ready, come back to me and read on.

As you approach the judge, the Football Bunny is kicking the Ball waring gloves and has scored an amazing goal.

As you leave the judge. You wave nicely to the judge and say goodbye

Riddily reinghdeer goes out in day and hate the night. He live by the sun because it is owase Brite. He can live for ever with his leaf. He can even live to12,000,000 years old just with his leaf. But his weakness is loud noises and fire.

As you approach the judge he has been given a gift by bouncy bunny.
The judge asks you to place your leaves in a line on the ground. He said, the winning leaf will be the fluffiest.

My bed isn't so comfortable I can never sleep in it.

He is playing football on football pitch and he was playing with his best friend and every shot he has a brilliant , fantastic GOAL! .And he always playes his very best and when he's got a space to have a clear space to have a shot to score a very,brilliant GOAL!. And he atcherly scores a GOAL. And he scored a top left corner. And he scored 2 goals and he's best friend scored 1 goal and mashmellow worm playes for juventus beat Real Madrid 3,1 and juventus is threw to the finals against Arsenal rovers.

He is sitting down on a really hard leaf he is not happy. He sitting with his friends in his house. The next day he goes to get a soft leaf to sit on it he went to show his friends. And another thing happend a bunch of bullies took my leaf and ript it in half he was not happy. when they took his leaf nobody said a word. The king was here he put. The bully's went into jail

The criteria for a winning leaf should be the colourfullest leafl like a disco floor. That's what cool catapilar would like. As you approach the judge putting a tie on getting ready for a disco remember about the leaf it is a colourful leaf for the disco floor. The details of a good leaf is a colourful leaf so it makes him more cool and LIT! he says thank you by highfiveing them and then tapping each other on the back 2times with out looking at each other witch made me think about why you don't look at each other

As you approach the judge cool sporty centipede is aged 21 and is still a very good sports person. If you find a centipede like cool sporty centipede it might well be cool sporty centipede. He likes to do running sports e.g football,quad athletics and rugby.He likes to score goals and to have good team players.He will always play in the rules of the games that are sports.If it's a school game that's not a p.e one he won't play within the rules of e games.So if you are choosing someone's leaf it has to be brown with green patches on it. But before you go most of the time he likes to excavate.Plus he likes to play sometimes on hard surfaces a bit like slate.When the centipede loses he does blush a bit then nobody in his team said a word and another thing they got all embarrassed than he found out that his team player did something naughty and I said that was sneaky. Out of the draw he found his studs from out of the drawer then his neighbor saw him and he said excuse me can I have some privacy here. As soon as he has lost he gets a bit mad but when he has won he shouts as loud as he can.But before Cool sporty centipede chooses you need to lay your leaves on the floor or in a circle then I will decide who has won out of all of your group.Then you will write it down on your sheet. Also you need to shout out thank you to him and he will say thank you back.

The King waits eagerly, he has judged many leaves already, but lots of faces are a little glum as nobody has won yet today, but then you place your leaves on the ground and the Kings wise eyes light right up.

'Tell me,' he says, 'Which did Spider choose?

And which did Miss Fly-by-night the moth?

And what about Squire Squirrel, he likes shiny, which did he choose?

And Captain Cricket, he always chooses for worm, which did he like the best.

He talks so fast that you find your head gets dizzy, but you point as quickly as he asks.

'All these leaves are so beautiful,' he says 'but every competition needs a winner and the throne can only hold one person, so . . . ' and he pauses thinking for a moment.

'Is there one leaf which has been chosen more than the others?'

Who's leaf has been chosen the most times?

But the King shakes his head, 'We can't leave it like this, I have an idea, you can take it in turns on my throne.'

And an enormous raw of applause erupts from the crowd, hats are thrown into the air and music begins to start.

Then the Forest Tree King lifts you up high onto the throne of branches and all cheer at the first winner.
